Millenial-artist Audrey Lu was born in 1994 in Dalian, China. In 2018, Lu graduated from London College of Fashion (BA) and Central Saint Martin’s (MA). Her academic achievements and her passion for art and painting go hand in hand, as Lu continues a series of ongoing creations.

Since her graduation, Lu has taken up ‘mutedemu’, an identity where she explores the concept of love and its derivatives through her many vivid creations. Audrey Lu’s artwork creates a unique perspective, spectating from a distance into mysterious characters, often heroines reimagined with symbolism of love, lust, and fantasies throughout her collective work. Audrey Lu’s fantastic vision of a peculiar world is filled with nature and stories forever enthralled with love and emotions. Audrey Lu is entering the spotlight in the London art scene, as appreciation for her interpretation and art is gaining momentum, while she has been chosen to be one of the artists to be featured in Hong Kong’s Affordable Art Fair 2022.
