Chef Joe first learnt about Italian cuisine a decade ago and spotted the importance of coffee. He started to experiment by pairing it with different types of food. Today, he explores Thai and Cantonese food too, believing that enjoyment of cuisine involves all our senses.
“I hope that my creations can be more diversified and that they could be more personal and related to my own life experiences. As for art, I hope I can pair the feeling of art with food plating. I have actually not learned drawing at all - but interestingly, many told me my plating looks nice. I guess I really enjoy piecing ingredients together.”
