An interesting upbringing equips Ling Ng into the artist she is today. A natural talent for drawing since her childhood, Ling grew up from strict familial teachings and academic training. Her passion for art grew stronger during secondary school, broadening her horizon and exposure to different forms of art, later motivating her into a career change from designing toys to becoming a makeup artist before returning to paint brush and canvas as a professional artist. For Ling Ng, drawing helps express her sentiments, bottled up emotions too difficult to be expressed verbally are properly channelled into brush strokes and patterns of colour. The story of every painting may be a secret hidden deep inside of the artist, and Ling Ng continues to create, allowing her innermost feelings, the upheaval climaxes presented in her paintings for all to be seen, guessed, felt, and experienced.
